Connecting to the ITA Backbone
ITA operates its own Wireless Backbone, also known as MAXNET. We currently operate 15 points of presence (POP) within Luanda, interconnected on a 400 MBit/s redundant microwave ring. Each POP is equipped with generators and sufficient battery backup units which are remotely monitored (24x7) by our Network Operations Center - maximizing our uptime. In addition we are proud to be completely independent from third-party operators which allows us to respond faster and more flexible to problematic occurrences.Our backbone's overall reliability has proven us to be one of the most leading ISP's in Angola.
Silver Option
Is ITA’s entry—level product, which is suitable for businesses that require a cost effective Internet solution. ITA utilizes and extremely low contention ratio (1:3) on our International fiber links. Our product has best effort satellite backup built in and therefore compares well above other local products in terms of price and performance.

Companies that need direct access to a corporate email/application server which are located in their HQ's in Europe for instance will benefit tremendously from using this solution. Our customers Internet traffic is routed via our SAT3 fiber optic cable connection to Portugal, London or South Africa via BreezeMax CPE, BreezeNet B or Ceragon Fibe Air microwave last mile connection.
